hey all

I guess it is the last show here.

I will be there sat. My employee will be there sunday.

If you wanna talk shit to me show on sat.

I will be having some “give away” prices on items. Show up to find out what they are. You MUST provide your nygf handle to get the “extra special @GUNSICK reach around specials”

I will not be going! I can get Socks, Beef Jerky, Picture Frames, Glass plant figurines, Overpriced ammo and Overpriced CMP guns elsewhere. Not to mention the fair coordinator "Dave Petronis" is the biggest scumbag and I would cut a finger off then give him $8 bucks! That is all. :ohsnap:

Sounds like this show I went to one time called "Every Gun Show in NY."

Rude vendors, terrible prices, cheap crap, Nazi crap.

Nah, I'll pass.

Just from a cursory reading, I'd say it means that there are some individuals that would excuse the laughable nature of the Saratoga gun show(s) because of prior experiences that didn't totally blow?

I'm not an English major though. :confused:

Even the ones in free states are a joke. I went to one in PA and one lady tried to tell me that a sightmark Red Dot was just as good quality-wise as an aimpoint for a fraction of the price.

Another guy was selling regular magazines but advertising them as pre ban magazines back when they were legal and we could buy prebans.

Besides the tables that have actual guns, all the other ones are loaded with junk that no one would actually go to a store to buy.

The ammo is never a steal. You might save 5 or even 10 bucks from an honest dealer which there are few of since most sell them at online prices but now you are stuck carrying 50 pounds to your car while walking through a zoo of people. I'd much rather pay the shipping to my door unless I was going to buy a couple of boxes but then why buy a couple boxes when you can buy them at a brick and mortar store if that's all you are going to buy?

Now comes the gun part. It's extremely inconvenient to try to buy a handgun from a table. It has to get shipped to your local FFL anyway so why not just buy from him or her anyway and save the transfer fees.

The most you are going to save is 50 bucks but that's eaten up by the admission fees if you go with your family so that's a wash.

I think about the only good thing about these shows is an excuse to get out of the house and eat an ice cream cone while walking around. Other than that, they are useless unless you run into the cool sticker or patch you haven't seen before.

Online shopping or brick and mortar shopping is much better and you get a return policy to boot on certain items.
