Typically one has to have their finger on the trigger to shoot. This is at a indoor range with a rental gun as indicated by the tape and barcode. There is video of him floating around at likely the same range with a gold AK.

He’s not been silent on the CCIA. I believe he has stood up many times in the government chambers to speak out on gun control. He was on the lawsuit and one of the defendants for the NYS can put you in a camp for a cough.

I’m certain he proposed bills against the safe act. He is way outnumbered so what would you have him do?
I try to be pragmatic.
Dipietro seems like a decent guy. Maybe some would argue he's the best we can hope for in NY a d there's probably truth to it.
But therein lies the problem. We're in NY. And that's the best we can hope for. Some strongly worded speeches and essays or press releases, none of which will actually accomplish anything to restore our rights which were unjustly taken from us. Even if someone dares standup to the evil empire you're going to get arrested and you have to hope that you have the financial backing to fight the system all the way to SCOTUS and aren't bullied into accepting a plea bargain to avoid bankruptcy or risk of felon status. Even if we get a favorable court ruling we have our politicians waiting with their pens and shit eating grins to immediately write worse laws.
It's much easier to KEEP rights than it is to REACQUIRE rights. Once you lose them there's only one way to get them back.
Compare the Virginia gun rights rally. When 25,000 armed people showed up, welp that was the end of gun control on the state level for some time.
Meanwhile in NY we have our rights taken in the middle of the night and get yelled at for ruining grass.
My very circuitous point I'm making is the best realistic thing any of us can do is move to a place that currently has the rights you want and fight like hell to keep them and warn anyone who will listen.

He Could do anything we could dream up in NYS but gun rights won’t be expanded here at all. He does all he can from what I see. The problem is t him it’s everyone else because they vote the opposite of him and a few other republicans. I’m not attacking you because I agree with what you said but I think people need to have realistic expectations for NYS.
