Savage 840

Anyone know anything about these? I have a lead on one in 30-30 for cheap.

Seems as though they're going for around $250 -$300.

I had to look it up. I didn't know Savage made them. Seems to be somewhat similar to Remington's 788.

I know nothing, but a bolt action 30-30 sounds pretty cool!

If you can spare the $ without having to do without something of necessity I'm pretty sure you can flip it down the road for a slight profit
