Scenarios based weapons choice. Video in post (MP5 vs AK74u)

I haven't seen the video. it was pulled down by Russians or democrats or something.

For close in work , its hard to beat a SMG. Outside with any distance or cover I'd take the AK

To Me the AK and the M4 are general purpose rifles Meant for engaging targets from 10 feet to 300 plus yards and they both do well at it .

But there are much better choices for specific jobs , Like clearing rooms or long distance shooting. The MP5 is going to suck monkey balls at 200 plus yards and the the sniper rifle is going to suck moose balls at clearing rooms. But for what they're intended, they are hard to beat.

That’s where I’m at with it. The AK is definitely the jack of all trades, where the MP5 is a bit of a one trick pony. It does that trick really, really well, though.

AK for me. I learned how to shoot on one, so there is an element of nostalgia, too.
