I live in Schoharie county and there is only 1 judge. Some of his permits say unrestricted and others say no restrictions and others say for all lawful purposes. Do they all mean the same thing?

Check but I believe Schoharie County has started recognizing, the Saratoga County un-restricted course. This is the outfit I sometimes assist with this class Firearms Training | Defense Dynamics I do believe they have openings, next class is Jan 12. One plus about this class is the live-fire is done on a indoor range so no conflict with the weather.

He said that being from Erie county, he would not speculate as to the LEGAL DEFINITIONS of those terms in your county. There may or may not be any difference. Although the terms all seem as though they mean the exact same thing, the fact that the different terms are used by the same judge suggests that there LIKELY IS A LEGAL DIFFERENCE in their defenitions, and therefore you should consult with your issueing authority, and if possible, the judge himself.
