regardless of what Schumer and Pelosi say, if you sign ANYTHING that these two back, they will use it to stab you in the back. It's my understanding that they will stand "shoulder to shoulder with you in the Rose garden while you sign this "Bi-partisan" law that will make ALL Americans safer. 10 minutes after you sign that piece of bullshit, these two idiots will be in front of a few hundred TV cameras claiming " a huge victory over the president and the NRA"

this is nothing more than a publicity stunt for Schumer and Pelosi.

Please, I beg of you, DO NOT FALL FOR IT. Walk away. Neither one of these two hypocrites cares for American lives. They only care about votes and staying in power

Just a what if. What if Trump agreed to 1. A limit on magazines, say 20 rounds max, 2. All sales, (not loaning of guns and all that crap) must have a BGC, and 3. ERPO's are ok with the caveat that there will NEVER be any further restrictions, laws, amendments EVER. What would you guys think? I know it would never happen, and there's all kinds of ways it could be overridden, but just for shits and giggles, would you be ok with that if it could actually happen?

If only Americans knew the facts on private sale gun checks it would be pretty amazing. Private sale gun transfers don’t even register on any interviews or studies on how criminals get their guns to use in crimes.
I agree with the later that we are losing the war in some sense and more laws will be passed.

The dems would be working on the next round of infringement before the ink was dry on the "no further restrictions" agreement.

We have the original "no further restrictions" agreement signed in 1791. They just pretend it doesn't exist.

So, no, I would not be OK with that.

One, we know they would be lying.
Two, red flag laws have no true due process. NJ gives the person 45 days of no guns then they have to PROVE they are fit to have guns rather than the government having to prove you are not .

Three, it’s a back door registration of firearms.

Four, I have lived under these laws including a de facto “red flag” enforcement threat for years. If my department and now the license authority here wanted to put someone’s guns for ANY reason, they can. I have seen where it was necessary and where it was not.

A national red flag bill that put in due process safeguards and imposed those safeguards on the states might be more palatable (As now recognized civil right, the feds can do this)for all of us in anti gun states.
