Roughly 100 protestors gathered outside of Senator Chuck Schumer’s home on Sunday to voice their opposition to Schumer’s leadership after he voted in favor of a GOP-backed spending bill.
The protestors held up signs outside of Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) home according to the New York Post, with one sign reading “Lost spine, if found please return to Chuck.”

Indivisible Brooklyn, the liberal group that organized the protest, stated that Schumer’s vote to confirm the recent GOP spending bill showcased a “devastating lack of leadership as he capitulated to Trump, Musk and the GOP during negotiations over government funding.”

Schumer isn't stupid.

He realized that a shutdown would play perfectly into DOGE's hands.

Trump and Musk want to dismantle much of the goverment. Shutting it down falls under the "don't threaten me with a good time" doctrine.

What amuses me the most about this is how much of a lose / lose situation Chucky is in. Politics in the U.S. is fatally broken - unfortunately on both sides of the Aisle. He votes against the bill in lock step with the rest of the Cabal, the Gov't shuts down. He votes for the bill in dispute with the rest of the Cabal, he's spineless and caved in. There was a time a few decades ago when Senators and Congressmen could vote in a bipartisan fashion for bills that made sense and would possibly even be good choices for the Country and the People. Now, you vote with your party in blind, ignorant, reckless, and cowardly obedience. Unless our elected REPRESENTATIVES start voting for what is good vs. what is Party, we're all fucked in the long run. Now, Chucky is getting everything he deserves, but the problem is - by ousting him, they'll just install someone even more hardline who will be utterly incapable of doing anything other than mindless obedience to the Democratic Hive Mind.

When was the last time a bill was actually good for the country? Decades ago, maybe? I honestly can't think of a single one. How long has the omnibus uniparty been in power? They are incapable of writing a bill that is good for America.

This is usually the case, and when everyone was hoping for, then cheering Cuomos demise, I was one of the guys saying things will get much worse. At that point the country was getting more progressive and I knew Cuomos predecessor would be worse.
But, in the case of Shumer, he is different.
Many prominent Conservative politicians, pundits and others "in the know", say he is the most dangerous politician in years, maybe decades. He is not an idiot and he has powerful friends.
AOC on the other hand......is an idiot. I'm not even being funny, she is a moron. Listening to her talk for 30 seconds proves it.
Anyone that replaces Shumer will be bad. But AOC just might be dumb enough to believe she is smart enough to not follow the plan layed out by smarter people in her party.
While Shumer is one of the designers of our countries downfall, AOC just might decide not to follow his advice if she becomes SML. I honestly believe AOC is NOT AS involved in the hostile NWO takeover as many other democrat politicians.

But many democrats are calling for AOC to run for Shumers senate seat. If that happens, she just might become the minority leader. The democrats are scrambling for younger voters and a lot of voters like her. Many of the young democrat groups are calling for fresh meat.
