Schumer: Democrats might set 60 votes for Supreme Court nominees

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer indicated Tuesday that Senate Democrats could decide to move the threshold for confirming a Supreme Court justice back to 60 votes, instead of today's simple majority, if Democrats retake the majority in November.

So basically we’re just playing politics. Maybe some red state senators will vote for him because of political gain. If we win the senate we will put it back to 60 votes for political gain. That’s all I hear anymore. These people can’t work together to save thier lives or the country. Sad state of affairs were in on both sides. They both suck, all of them. Nothing will ever get done. The republicans were a huge disgrace these last 2 years.

People wonder why the voter turnout sucks. I will vote and I will vote all republican this go around, but I’m very hesitant to do so and I will not expect anything to come of it.
