It doesn't matter what implement was used to impart mayhem. It comes down to criminal intent and the evil in that humans soul. Gun control, COVID mask, political correctness; it's all a farce and evil intent by a pack of conspiring socialist-communist. The weak minded are slowly being brainwashed into submission.

Walk into any correctional facility in NY, any state, any county, and country all over the world and ask then to show you where the gun incarceration block is located. You know, where the guilty firearms are placed on a mattress to serve out their sentence for the crime they committed. I suspect you'll come up with the inevitable count.....

It does matter to a certain extent. It further proves that they have ZERO understanding/knowledge about what they speak on. It shows their continued ignorance on subject matter which their entire argument to cripple and eradicate the second amendment is based on. The same way they deem scary "tacticool" semi automatic rifles are "assault weapons". But we all know this, right??

This is a singular issue which shouldn't be clumped into the other issues like mask/vaccine mandates, hyperbolic political correctness and cancel culture.

Oh, they understand perfectly well. They understand that it doesn't matter what the effect of the law is, only the optics of it. A lemming hears "ghost guns banned", has no idea what a "ghost gun" is, but it sounds scary, automatic, fully-loaded, and murdery. That lemming is then very glad their brave elected representative took on that horrid NRA and banned those ghost gun, mass-shooting machines.

They can't ban the CAD files or programming. They can't collect and erase all the files, they can't limit the material or it's manufacture. They can't accept that the horse is out of the barn, and the horse they're trying to ride is dead!

I will chime in playing devil's advocate to your question


Most people are past the point of caring.

When citizens no longer recognize our government as being legitimate, our lawmakers looking out for our interests, lawmakers protecting our rights and upholding their oaths of office, it becomes very easy to make the decision to just ignore them and their unconstitutional laws. Many have made a moral decision to do what they feel is right and ignore unjust decrees by those who are seeking to limit our rights.

Many "law abiding citizens" who ignore these laws still consider themselves lawful and law abiding and not doing anything wrong. If laws are written by those who derive their power from the consent of the governed, what happens when those being governed feel their natural rights are being steadily eroded by those entrusted to protect them. Citizens no longer feel compelled to follow laws that infringe upon their natural rights and in doing so they do not feel they are criminals and are still moral and just.

Which gun law have they passed made crime stop? If a law is passed tomorrow that says give up your x gun, how many criminals will turn them in? Any law which prohibits the possession of an object (which does not include the harming of others in the production) only disenfranchises the honest/law abiding citizen. how does banning x gun make the criminals comply and the citizens safer? Laws are only feel good measures passed by the government to give the illusion of doing something to the general public.

This is how a politician operates: If someone kills someone with a knife we blame the person. If someone kills someone with a gun we blame, yep you guessed it, “the gun.“ They are not interested in solving problems because it takes away campaign and fund raising issues. Example illegal immigration should have been fixed after Poncho Vila raided Columbus, New Mexico. The border should have been secured to prevent anyone coming in without our knowledge. This would have prevented the problem we have on the southern border now.

Politicians/ Tyrants need an unarmed population because an armed populace is impossible to lord over without consent. American is the land of the free and, freedom is dangerous. when you have the freedom to chose and take responsibility for your choices that is when you are free. When you have the right to exercise your freedoms and are held accountable for those actions should they harm other that is called personal accountability. Governments cannot relieve you of responsibilities or personal accountability without enslaving you.

if you kill someone you are held accountable for the killing, if it was justified you will be exonerated of an unlawful killing, if it was not you will be held to atone for your actions that is called justice. There cannot be freedom without accountability and justice.

All governments serve to increase their power, that is the nature of government. All governments are inherently evil such is the nature of government. Our form of government is restrained by the people, once it breaks those restraints it will become tyrannical. The citizens have the duty and responsibility to hold not only the government accountable for its actions but also the people in government who did it or let it happen accountable. Thus the reason for arms and voting. Voting is the way to peacefully overthrow the government. It is our way of throwing off those who burden the citizen’s rights to life, liberty and, the pursuit of happiness. Arms are the way the citizens keep the ability to keep peacefully overthrowing the government. An unarmed citizen is a subject to the crown.

The 80% market is for people who love a challenge and can do things themselves. This is not the only reason the 80% market thrives but it is the reason people like me do things. I started building guns 30 plus years ago. I mainly took Para Ordnance gunsmith fit frames and converted my single stack 1911s to double stack guns. I also did things like trigger jobs, changed calibers, change parts, modify frames for mag well funnels and red dot mounts on my 1911s. Once you get to the point you have done everything you can on someone else’s frame you reach a point where you want to cross the line into manufacturing your own. The challenge drives human development.

The other primary benefit is you don’t have to get big brother’s permission to exercise your right to keep and bear arms. In a cash society people can stay off the govt radar easily. This is the reason the govt keeps pushing universal background checks. The secondary gun market makes tracking where a gun went to and when impossible. The government does not have the need nor the right to know what kind of guns You may possess.

COVID has shown the people what lengths the government is willing to go to control your life. Why do you think gun sales are up across the country? smart people know you can vote yourself into socialism but you have to shoot your way out. The people are fed up with government overreach due to its COVID restrictions. What makes you think they are going to accept more government overreach on 80% guns?
Hang on it is going to be a bumpy ride.

Good question.
1. Some laws are superior to others.
2. Specifically, the laws that limit the topics and abilities of the legislature ARE SUPERIOR to that legislature.
3. When the legislature violates that superior law, and passes ANYTHING forbidden, it is still subordinate to any limits imposed by that superior law.
4. That's why "invalid laws are to be ignored."
5. Law abiding people do not give one shit about invalid legislative acts that violate superior law.
6. Law abiding people abide the laws in the order of precedence. Superior ones first, then subordinates. In that order.

Law abiding people CANNOT comply with the safe act. They'd be ignoring the supremacy of state and federal constitutional limitations on the legislature.

Those limitations are superior to the whims of any branch of government. Full stop.
