Democrat US Senator Chuck Schumer says the Washington Democrats Agenda is working. Schumer says, that's because manufacturing investment is double what it was, under the Trump Administration.


to me it looks like its due to inflation to me, it says construction spending up not construction are up correct me if I'm wrong

There is zero chance I believe this. I have heard of no new manufacturing and I’ve seen no increase. The o ly thing I’m aware of is my old job is increasing manufacturing but that’s been in the works since I started working there 10+ years ago but just took this long to get the funding, approvals, and construction lined up. The city where the plant is located in was the largest factor in the delay.

While I'm certain his numbers are, at best, misleading there does appear to be a trend to "re-shore" manufacturing back to this country. It has nothing to do with Biden and is instead a reaction to the supply chain disruptions due to covid and the more belligerent tone in China. It doesn't do much good to have cheap manufacturing in a foreign country if you can't get the products here or your money out. FJB.

You guys are missing the point. Inflation has driven the cost of everything up so high, manufacturing in America is crashing. Manufacturers ARE SPENDING MORE, upchucky is correct. But like all Democrats assholes, they make it sound like a good thing. They keep saying the Joseph Goebbels mantra " if you tell a lie to the media, and the media repeats it often enough, the lie becomes the truth". AND that is exactly where we are today.
To bad for 'schumer the schemer', the American public is really beginning to feel the pain. Christmas bills are due this month, and now many thousands of house holds are wondering were the money is going to come from to pay for all those gifts.
schumer and biden both are very proud that "spending is up". Normally that would be a good thing. Capitalism depends on supply and demand and that people buy goods and services. But ask yourself? what money people are spending. It's there savings. Saving for the average American family is at a 100 year LOW! no one has any money to fall back on.
If schumer thinks the economy is so great, ask him to buy a Big Mac, *value* meal for a family of 4.
I want to see his eyes light up when the bill hits 40+$ and he can't figure out why

100%... I work for a major Defense Contractor - some of our Programs take 2-3 years from proposal - to award - to production. So stuff we bid on and won three years ago is now going into production, with a corresponding increase in head-count. And the magical thing? It has fuck-all to do with the talking head in the White House or Chucky. The U.S. Military started developing their requirement 5-6 years and did it based on strategy. So the company I work for is hiring now for something that has been in the works for many years. But the stupid sheep believe people like Chucky who look at the work everyone else does and takes the credit for it. He's a parasite that should be disposed of in the nearest trash bin.

Supply chain and fuel were main reasons for inflation. Gas has gone down a bunch and that “should” reduce transportation costs for almost everything. Supply chain is working as normal so why does a small beef roast cost over 50 dollars still? They make a crisis every few years to increase costs greatly, then slightly reduce the price but it then stays steady at the higher levels. 8 years ago gas was at or below about 2 bucks a gallon. Now it’s a miracle to get it under 3.50 a gallon. Watch for the next crisis. Oh, anyone in Congress worth less than a million dollars? Answer is …NO
