So hypothetically, someone could take their home battery bank to a Fast Charge station and charge it when the solar panels could not due to winter and summer storms. Then go home and put them back on the rack?

Have you seen the prices of fast charging? If you want to use the full 350 KW, they add on an additional fee. It's not free to use a majority of these chargers.

There are a set of pay per KW chargers by one of my work places, and they do a $5 credit card fee, and then charge like $0.60/KWH. So to do 100 KW on your typical electric car, you'd be spending $65-70.

So, where are the savings? It's not green either.

$60 -$70 would be worth having backup power at home or at Bug Out site. Better than waiting for Solar power to charge up, All it would have to do is maintain as needed.

Agreed. EVs and or EV charging are not green, not even close. Solar and wind are all but useless, a fuck'n joke. They don't produce anywhere near enough electricity to charge EVs. So coal or natgas needs to burn to generate the electricity. I expect politicians are $invested in EVs, it's just another follow the $$ thing.

To be fair, I don't like hydrogen either. Electrolysis is worse than just burning gas, pollution wise. Also, hydrogen does hydrogen things when conditions are right, and I don't want to be inside or anywhere near a vehicle where conditions are right for hydrogen to do hydrogen things.

And that account is in the Caymans or Channel Islands.

The grift on the "sustainable" energy (wind/solar) and EV boondoggles must be enormous.

And they keep doing it, even when frozen wind turbines send Texas into the power crapper, no one is buying the ridiculous things (EVs Overstocked at Dealerships Due to High Supply and Low Demand), and Hertz is dumping 20,000 EVs and replacing them with ICE-powered cars (Hertz is selling 20,000 EVs and replacing them with gas cars | TechCrunch).

Other than nuclear, the whole "sustainable" energy "movement" is just another asset-stripping scam.

Where are you going to charge those puppies when BIG.Gov says "You've had enough electricity this month, slave."?

But then people who don't work or do shit won't be able to get it for "free" (AKA, everyone else pays for them) because they're disadvantaged or whatever. See, I figured it out.
