The best forts are built with multiple layers of walls between the attackers and the defenders. When one set of walls are overrun, you pull back to the next most inner set and put up another defense. This becomes a war of attrition between yourself and the attackers.
But it is only useful if you fight back at each wall. You don't just wander away and say "I'll fight next time". Fight back now. Don't let the bastards push you out of YOUR home!
Speak out against their unAmerican policies.
Force them to go to court to try to defend their unAmerican policies.
Vote against those who would seek to create or support these unAmerican policies.
And, ultimately, go to war against them.

Again, NY IMO is a lost cause regarding our gun rights. This is a Liberal "Snowflake" state. They want you to rely on 911 for your safety (I'm serious) which is ludicrous.

NYSRPA is impotent when it comes to rallying gun owner against the NY unSAFE act.
SCOPE seems to be trying to rally us. But the lack of support in this state is dismal.
New Yorkers have basically abdicated their 2nd Amendment rights to unSAFE act.

Sadly, I have moved resources to the national fronts I feel actually bring cases. SAF and GOA being the most effective imo. I to fear ny apathy and the overwhelming progressive liberal downstate have made this state the poster child or tip of the spear for the antis in their quest.

Every year NYS comes up with some new law, restriction or tax/fee that makes me work harder to escape this cesspool hell hole. (I'm referring to downstate NY metro )
