this is why Pelosi wants to stop the SOTU address. She DOES NOT want to give the President the ultimate platform from which to speak. She knows the DemocRATS are backed into a corner and if the President is allowed to potificate while the governement is shutdown, the President can hammer them for the shutdown.
The longer this goes on, the more people are going to hate DemocRATS. Pres. Trump has given these idiots more than a fair deal to reopen the government. They simply refuse to for two reasons
1) Pelosi's silicone valley won't get the Trillions in funding for Tech improvmente along the border
and
2) They don't want the President to complete another political promise
Pres. Trump is the only president in history to actually keep his political promises. He's making NObama look like the puppet he is

I just read a conspiracy theroy that says Pelosi is putting together an assaination attempt of the President and Vice president which would make her President of the United States. Thats why she had a hand picked flight to be out of the country when this "attempt" would go down. LOL

Not sure if Pelosi has the pull for this type of work. Yet the thought passed through my addle brain knoggin that POTUS Trump is seriously upsetting the cart of many deep state players that would not mind at all to see Trump removed from the game.

If you asked me, I would say he should give the SOTU from the Oval Office. This would eliminate the seemingly hours long entrance ceremony with all the false admiration and selfie photo ops from the swamp creatures. And also eliminate the endless rounds of obligatory applause during the speech. He would come off as if he were speaking to each American personally! And maybe, just maybe I would be able to get through the entire thing without falling asleep!
