"Extend" the 2nd Amendment?

Last I knew it covered pretty much any kind of arms a person could 'carry'. INCLUDING 'weapons of war'!

Of course, this particular lawsuit has nothing to do with 'weapons of war' unless the .gov keeps infringing on our Rights and pushing people past the point they will remind them what the 2nd is for.

Extending nothing. In 1776 everyone had weapons of war. Our "freedoms" are shrinking every day. Government control is expanding.....of course for "our own good"

But as we have seen with the gun cases ...We cannot get any cases to the docket...so who holds more sway... Some liberal circuit judge quoting mother jones in defining our gun laws ....and many other laws too boot.

It's a defacto approval by the Supreme Court. Liberals are happy, they got unconstitutional ban through and conservatives are happy, they have a butt-hurt base, which they blame on a liberal judge. This is how the game is played.

I think the SCOTUS will only take the case if someone’s freedom is in jeopardy.
Like the stun gun case where they ruled a ban on stun guns was unconstitutional.

A woman’s freedom was in jeopardy. I think if a protected class was in jeopardy it would go all the way up. A handicap person who uses a semi auto would be a good challenge to the 10 round rule.

Or a domestic violence victim who carries on a premises permit uses it when attackedon the street.
I know of a few cases where with a wink and a nod they said an excuse like she was on the way to a range and had time to load up when attacked.

I think a better challenge is NYC’s 5 round rule for rifles is a good one.

Not to worry, with 1/3 of the eligible populace to vote actually participating, our Gov't isn't really by the people anyways! They all scurry home and hurry to watch reality TV and eat leftovers nuked in their microwave. They have strong opinions but only those formulated by what is pushed at them via the media and do little to learn on their own away from what's broadcast. They (2/3) couldn't give a rats ass about anything but themselves and only get tickled when something affects them.

Bottom line...

The only Amendment which states "Shall not be infringed"...

The framers were that smart that they honestly examined the human condition and all the evil it possess and felt the need to make clear, this one Right, not be misconstrued! Then how is it consistently so...?

System is rigged and we aren't invited to the table to feast!

I'm so dejected right now. I knew it was a long shot but the Kolbe decision was SO BAD I thought MAYBE they'd finally have a case they could take. This is an embarrassment. I am honestly embarrassed to be an American today. Liberty and justice for all... ha, what a joke. I'm also SICK and TIRED of hearing about having to wait for more conservative justices. B.S.! THEIR JOB IS TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION. They can't even defend their own precedent! What is the point of the SC if they can't even defend their own rulings? Ugh...

So is this it? Are there anymore cases left? At this point I welcome a federal ban just so that SCOTUS will HAVE to hear the issue. I am disgusted with this country.

The hardest thing to realize is that we are being screwed by our "friends". How many times this scenario will be repeated until even the dumbest among us will realize what is going on. Politics is a filthy business and democracy is not without pitfalls.

It take 4 justices to grant Cert! There are 4 liberals on the court that would love nothing but to rule against anything 2A ! Then why did they not grant this case to go forward? Because they too were uncertain of that 5th vote needed? At best had this gone forward it would have been 50/50 of going our way! Me I would like better odds then that!

They should all burn in hell for their fleecing of the people that are probably the most true to the constitution of any single segment of the population.
