I don't know why they operate as they do, but it seems as though they will often relist a case two or three times before either granting Cert or denying it outright.
But if these cases get denied, we will know for certain that Roberts is a sellout.

we the people pay them .. they should take on every case they get .. if they can't handle the workload then fkin quit with no pension pay .. if they would rule in the correct way and slam the States they wouldn't have a big case load .

Will State and local municipalities then still invoke sovereignty, and regulate it, like speed limits (so to say).
So the we wind up back at SCOTUS, to rule on scrutiny... The application thereof, something they appear reluctant to do.
And then municipalities make their own interpretation of the ruling(s), after sifting through them, and apply limits, like on "speech" for public safety (Fire in a theater).
Then we wind up back at SCOTUS, or the Legislature, or at the whim of Judicial Advocacy... making decisions on the fly, swayed by their own ideals. Up/Down, In/Out, Frontwards/Backwards... It keeps getting kicked around like a can when we were kids. Never really finding rest!!!
Then, we wind up back where we started...
So the moral of the story is, I've yet to find the part in our Constitution, where it decrees we must await for others to provide for our "Life", "Liberty" and "Happiness"... We are not granted these, we must take them, make them happen, invoke our GOD given Rights of Free Men (&women)! Is funny how the document is actually what the Government can or must do, but is continually reversed and made to be what a "citizen" or the "people" must... The PEOPLE are the substance, not benefactors of the document. The words "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" are pretty clear to me, and I'll never understand the continual convenience of dismissing that simple phrase! The Gov't "SHALL NOT INFRINGE" on the PEOPLE keeping an bearing "ARMS"... Not hard right? Simple?
How does one bring to bear, redress about SCOTUS? Can't have SCOTUS rule on SCOTUS can we? Lol...
Really...? How does, or do, the "People" gain a forum to address the 3rd branch of Gov't? They're isolation and being unchecked with lifetime appointment is problematic. How do they get their hands slapped? You can't elect new ones, you can't fire them. They're the ultimate immunity, operating in a sea of impunity! Add to it their lack of teeth, and they're becoming easy "not to like" as they basically don't do shit, if they won't address and keep avoiding one of the hot button topics over the last decade or two (since AWB).

Anything you pass must have teeth.
If the states and localities are free to thumb their noses at the rulings expect them to continue to do so.
You need to specify fines and prison sentences for officials who violate these rights.
Technically you don't even need more legislation, you just need the justice department to prosecute for it.
It's already illegal for a local official to deprive you of your rights "under color of law". They should perp walk the people creating and enforcing these laws along with the mayors of the sanctuary cities.
No new laws required, just give them the Rodger Stone treatment.

Cuomo has been due a good perp walk for at least 7 years! Why has the Federal Government not acted?
The only answer that fits is that they want these restrictions also.
Ironic, isn't it, that the Federal Government bends over backward if a church is forced to close in a (supposed) pandemic, but nothing but silence about our gun stores and 2nd Amendment Rights being canceled for years!
I might as well vote for the Dems. At least they'll give me free stuff.
