Supreme Court rules for NRA in New York government coercion battle
The National Rifle Association alleged that an official's warning that companies faced “reputational risks” by working with the group violates its constitutional rights.

Essentially, SCOTUS ruled unanimously that the NRA can proceed with lawsuits against NY for violating their right to free speech:
The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the National Rifle Association can pursue a claim that a New York state official’s efforts to encourage companies to end ties with the gun rights group constituted unlawful coercion.
The justices unanimously found that the NRA can move forward with arguments that its free speech rights under the Constitution’s First Amendment were violated by the actions of Maria Vullo, the then-superintendent of the New York state Department of Financial Services.

The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled in favor of the National Rifle Association in a dispute over whether its free speech rights were violated when the top financial regulator for New York state pushed banks and insurance companies to sever ties with the gun rights group.
The court said in a unanimous opinion written by Justice Sonia Sotomayor that the NRA 'plausibly alleged' that the New York regulator violated the First Amendment by coercing regulated entities to end their business relationships with the NRA in order to "punish or suppress" the group's pro-gun rights advocacy.
Not that this is earth shaking, since this simply allows the NRA to proceed with their lawsuits against NY, but I was surprised to see a unanimous decision on this. My view is that the leftists on the Court feel the need to pretend like they give a shit about the Constitution every once in awhile.
And when I say leftists on the Court, I don't mean just Sotomayor, Kagan, or Jackson...
I don't expect this to do much for our RKBA, or our Right to speak freely and participate in society, since debanking and other government/corporate means of pushing the "wrong" people out of the public square is already in full swing at this point.
