??? O'Connor is no longer a sitting Justice. How would there be another seat battle?

She retired in 2006, her dementia started before that. Not being a smart ass, just recalling some of her pre-exit reasonings and my agreement with many in the know. Before that she seemed to be a very constitutionally based Justice. Kind of sad really.

O'Connor was a designated swing vote, before justice Kennedy took that role. Both were appointed by president Reagan, who is a conservative icon.
This is why I no longer believe in the system. Good luck with Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and SCOTUS upholding the 2A.
