SCR Build

Got a super sweet deal on an SCR lower with Monte Carlo stock yesterday. Probably $100 - $125 less than dealer cost.

Thinking I'm going to use it for my 18" 6.5 Grendel build.

Anyone here have one in anything other than 5.56/223?

No, but I just got to test my .223 build today. I am very pleased. I built mine using a BA non-threaded barrel and Seekins NOSX rail. Wished I could have sighted in my 1-6 scope but it was dark and my eyes are not what the used to be.

Have been tempted to put a 300 BLK upper on one of mine but haven't got there yet.

I’ve been thinking of doing a 7.62 x 39 upper for mine. The Fightlight BCG is expensive though.

Should just have to change the bolt, not the entire BCG.

Correct, I was thinking fully dedicated BCG for the 7.62. That way I don’t have to disassemble the BCG each time I swap uppers. I did think about it though.
