Evening ladies and gents. I’m looking forward to buy a SCR lower soon. I’m just wondering when this lower is being transferred is it considered a rifle or is it still a Other?

That one will most likely be transferred as a rifle. You have to see how the factory sends it. That is the way it will be transferred.

I was going to purchase just the lower and it’s stated “Rifle lower” but I’m hearing from multiple people that even as a complete lower, FFL will transfer it as a other since it’s just a receiver and not a completed firearm. I just wanted to know if this is true.
The dealer is supposed to transfer it as it came in. If they don't their agent (ATF) guy can screw them over. If it comes in a rifle it is a rifle when it goes out. If it comes in an other it goes out an other.

And somewhere down the line if it left the factory as a rifle lower but you built it into a pistol because you got it transferred as an other. You will get hemmed up for building a short barreled rifle if the ATF gets involved For any reason.

This was the main answer I was looking for, I know once a rifle always a rifle and that pistols can go back and forth. Thanks.

It's not. It is a receiver. It will be written on the front of 4473 as "Receiver" and the box checked on the second page will be Other.
I don't know what is so hard to understand here.

In this instance, what difference does it make if your are handed this firearm listed as receiver, or this firearm listed as rifle? The only time it would matter is if you were aged 18-20.

There’s a lot of different answers that’s why lol. I’ll just buy it and if it comes as a receiver than better for me. Also was planning on making it a pistol.
