Good, I’ve read that production facilities there are state of the art and quality is very good.
I don’t need another JM Browning pattern 45 as l already have 6 of them but that’s a great buy for someone looking for a heavy duty 45 auto service pistol, and if l had the extra cash I’d probably go ahead and buy one.

I took a chance on the duty model with rail in 45. Has been flawless for the couple of hundreds of rounds of 230 grain FMJ ball I’ve put thru it. Have not experienced any of the usual “1911 require break in periods” that you hear. I put the fit and finish above rock island. Gun is tight with no rattles still and slide to frame fit is still very tight. With forged slide, barrel and frame you can’t go wrong. I’m now looking to add either their D10 10mm 1911, their 45 ACP match 1911 or their 4.25 commander with rail in 9mm.

I’m very impressed with the value you get for the dollar. No it’s not a nice Dan Wesson, Wilson combat etc. however for a couple of hundred bucks you have a well made gun that is fun and reliable to shoot, or with the forged frame/slide/barrel can provide a good starting point for customization.
