SEEKING ADVICE and DIRECTION!
Long Story so hopefully I can provide all the details without being overly boring. In Short. I applied for a NYC Home Premise License in 2018 and was approved. Fast forward to the renewal 2021 submitted all the same information and was denied for having a second address. Which is untrue. Once that was proven they continued to deny the application because of poor moral BS. Basically stating because I was irritated at the false information the investigator was referencing I didn't have the moral character needed.
Here is my question, if I were to move my permanent domicile to an upstate county such as Dutchess or Orange what am I looking at with regard to timing, cost and road blocks? Does anyone have a clear understanding or experience with Dutchess County?
I will have the scarlet mark from the NYPD denying my application but literally there is nothing on my record that would fall under an offese. Not tickets, no arrests, no domestic reports absolutely nothing.
I wish I could point to a reason this guy had it out for me but I honestly can not other then to say he has a history of racial profiling ( something I dont often invoke ) and that they we hell bent on denying as many applications as possible prior to the laws changing. I realize to investigate such actions is timely and expensive. However if it happened to me I can not be the only one. I am not special in any way other then having the inherantly bad luck of being from NYC.
