What’s the rule on private ammo sale and shipping ammo by a non FFL person. I have a bunch of 30.06 doing nothing with. Thanks in advance to all.

I had a Dealer/Cop tell me that private sales of ammunition without a BGC was acceptable as the private seller cannot register and access the system, and there doesn't seems to be written into Law the demand that one take their ammunition to a Dealer for transfer.
So, whatcha got? LOTS of folks are looking for '06 this time of year.

I have 200 rds Remington in 180..220 grain. Couple boxes of federal and one Winchester.. one box of 150 grain. I believe. Close to 250 rounds plus or minus a round or two. Would like to sell it all and the 7400 I listed

With these new ammo laws, does this include no private ammo sales from one individual to another? Stupid as this sounds can it be done through a gun store or is this the end of it?
