What are the regs? Keep it simple please. For example, a Benelli M4 with 7 round tube is legal? With pistol grip?

Some Leftist bureaucrat flunky was probably told to adjust the, then, bill to ban thumbhole stocks. So, not knowing anything about firearms, they just substituted "thumbhole stock" for "pistol grip" instead of adding thumbhole stock. This was probably done by the same expert that wrote the ban on muzzle "breaks."

And what about this 922r regulation I keep reading about? A maximum of 10 foreign-made parts correct? Since the build would be 7+1 apparently I must swap out the tube, follower, and forend to be compliant. What a silly bunch of hoop jumping.
Also, since I would run 7+1 plus one on the carrier am I compliant? That is 9 rounds total in shotgun but only 7 in the actual magazine.

I imagine it would be the same as shooting my browning light 12 with a regular stock.
They have to go by what is on the barrel. If it say 2 3/4 inch that is the standard it shall be judged by. I can jam 100 .22 rounds in the tube of my 41 mag lever gun but, that doesn't mean I have a 100 round capacity mag.

That is not the case. Pistol grip on a semi-auto shotgun is legal. Glue a strap of plastic to the bottom of a pistol grip and the toe of the stock - BOOM! instant baby killing, lefty incontinence inducing, death machine!
Benelli M4 w/ 7+1+1 is GTG. Had one before I had to sell it for financial reasons and LOVED it. Will get another one as soon as I'm back on my feet again.
Note you cannot have 7 round tube with a collapsible stock BUT you can have a collapsible stock (or any other "evil" feature other than 7 round tube) with the 5 round tube Benelli configures for civilians.
I don't think you can buy the Benelli factory 7 round tube as a civilian but you can get an aftermarket 7 round tube for it. This is the one I put on my M4 and it was awesome. The Freedom Fighter Tactical Finished Titanium Full-Length Magazine Tube for the Benelli M4 Shotgun. Mesa Tactical makes a great shortened fixed stock which is an alternative to collapsible stock that is LEGAL with 7 round tube Urbino Pistol Grip Stock for Ben M4 (Riser Ready, Limbsaver, 12-GA, Black)- Mesa Tactical Good luck!

I replaced stock, tube and foregrips with USA made parts. There are trigger options available, which I actually bought and still have new in packaging (hint, hint) but decided against it because if you're buying a Benneli, one of the things you should keep is the Benneli trigger group. Pretty sure he was referring to something I said in my response that I have since edited. It has to do with "limitation" on imported parts and the Benneli 7 round factory tube.

They increased the magazine capacity and removed pistol grip as an "evil" feature under unsafe. There has to be a reasoning behind it.
Ghost loading an m4 gets you 1 more round and legal. Not held in the mag tube....suck it Andy.
