I'd say the U.S. is done, as of the mid-term elections. Nothing is going to be accomplished during the next two years. And after 2020, Civil War 2 will be in progress, if not before then.

In the first two years a couple of conservative supreme court judges were appointed. That's a significant accomplishment. I'd argue some tax cuts were implemented too, at least for those citizens outside of New York. Still waiting on the wall though.....

Just remember boys, repuds had near total control and failed to pass both the Hearing Protection Act and Concealed Carry Reciprocity, but has no problem passing the tax cuts. Why is that? Is it that they just pandering to us guns rights supporters for our votes?

Our republic is essentially done for.
We have activist judges continually undermining a president because of partisan loyalty.
We have half of the politicians (liberals) in this country who have repeatedly made comments about wanting America to fail just to make trump look bad.
We have had years of non stop arguably illegal and treasonous judicial and legislative obstruction at every turn.
And yet, they all get away with it. Repeatedly. And they are emboldened.
We need to just get it over with already and determine what type of country this is going to be.

They didn't "harm" us. But also didn't "help" us either. It sucks to think that status quo is a win. The bump stock ban went thtough, but the SCOTUS has (hopefully we find out via a case soon) more pro 2a justices.
I blame many of the "never trumper" establishment types. The Paul ryans, McCain's, flakes etc. Those are the guys who ultimately could have made a difference but they shirked their duties and screwed us by their deep state and establishment loyalties.

I really do believe that if all the elections held this month were true and uncorrupted that the republicans would still hold the house and the senate would have them approaching a super majority. Yes, I really do believe that.
