Interesting. I think the democrats are cynically taking the "high road" on this topic and will use it against the republicans, particularly if Moore wins in Alabama. There is little cost to the democrats. Both Franken and Conyers will be replaced by other democrats. But they can go after the republicans full steam if they have supposedly purged their own ranks. I'm guessing they must figure there are more republicans with skeletons in their closets than democrats.
Not sure what to think. The pervs definitely should go, but this could ultimately turn into another salem witch hunt where all it takes is an accusation to get someone to "retire."
What we really need is for some male staffer of a female democratic senator/congresswoman to make an accusation of harassment. Oh how I would enjoy that.

I'm no fan of Al Franken (he's a liberal "dick"). But, IMO whatever antics (he's was some kind of SNL comedian ??) he may of done to those women before he became an US senator, doesn't justify resigning from the senate. This whole "me too" bullshit has gotten out of hand. Other countries are look at us and thinking - REALLY WTF ??

The FACT that his first election to the senate was rigged is reason enough for him to resign in disgrace. Or just resign, he has no conscience, so he wouldn't know the difference anyway.
