I don’t think domestic abusers should have access to guns. If you’re violent against helpless people you’re violent against helpless people. What I do have a problem with is if your record was sealed how can they now unseal it. You can do it going forward but tour sentence is like a contract and the state I guess just feels they can break that contract anytime. Not much different than the constitution I guess.

'Sealed records' - as in juvenile records - are regularly unsealed when they check your records when applying for a pistol permit.

Anyone like that shouldn't be outside of a jail, let alone with access to firearms. If you're not in jail, you should have your rights restored. None of this half-assed citizen crap. Either you did the time, or you didn't. If you're not a citizen, you shouldn't be on the streets.
