I don’t have a problem with the indians bitching about where the revenue given to the “oppressive” government goes, we dont do that right we’re happy with what our government does with our graciously donated funds. Also did we not all scream and bitch when the Canadian government closed the bank accounts of the truckers and thier supporters? They didn’t have the right to do that we said, and we all screamed about it. It is not about suing the Indians, but what was done to thier bank accounts, agree or not I don’t care.
Oh and if you sue someone can you close thier bank accounts, or restrict thier access to funds? No then neither should the government.

They agreed to give this money to the state because of the casinos we allowed them to have on NYS land. Trust me the Indians make out in this deal.
Also the Indians never have to pay tax or deal with NYS if they chose not to, but they chose to. Closing the Canadian bank accounts is not comparison at all since that was private citizens money the government stole.

Take them to court if they do not fulfill thier obligations. This was done purely as a way to force the Indians to pay before the state budget was enacted, as whorecul didn’t have the money otherwise.
I don’t care whose money it is the state should not be able to force the bank to withhold the money you put in, unless a law gives them that right, such as IRS liens etc.

If what you said is true I’d agree with you except it was a court action that allowed NYS to freeze the asserts.
I also do not believe your average everyday citizens money was in a casino escrow account.

If I was the Seneca Nation I would end all PILOTS to local school districts close down the casino for a year due to renovations and lay off 4500 workers with a note attached to their pink slip saying " Kathy Hochul Did This".
