I drive by a billboard every night to work saying "location business park" has a bunch of well businesses in there

Ok now that we are done with that.
Back to the more important things. Where to get the garbage plate, the one and only I've had was from Dogtown.
Also any suggestions on maybe a good place for dinner other than garbage plates lol

Depends a lot on what you're looking for. If the weather is decent and you want something near the water, you can give Hedges in Webster a try. Windjammers near Ontario Beach park has decent wings. Jeramiah's Tavern has four locations (Monroe Ave, Penfield, Gates, and Henrietta) and usually has decent food and beer selections. Their wings are good too.
High End: Cure, Good Luck, Nosh, Revelry, The Cub Room
Mid Level: Fiorella, Branca, The Gate House, Selenas, S.E.A., La Casa, Genesee Brew House, Boxcar Donuts and Fried Chicken. Ox and Stone. the Owl House
Order at the counter and sit down: Pita, Cedar, Johns Tex Mex, Sultan,
Rochester Classic: Country Sweet, Steve T's, Tahous, Juan and Marias, Pelegrinos

I'm glad someone mentioned the fact that it's a misdemeanor to carry at seneca park zoo shortly after after a police officer said you're good to go.

Where are you staying?
If you're going to get a Garbage Plate for the experience of getting a Garbage Plate, don't waste your time on any of the imposters. Nick Tahous on Main St. and Steve T's on Lyell Ave are the originals that made the plate a famous part of Rochester lore. Steve T's is still Tahous, it just got a name change due to a family squabble years ago.
Schallers, Henrietta Hots, and Empire Hots all make plates that are pretty close to Tahous, but just aren't the same.
The Genesee Brew House downtown is a great spot to eat also, the patio and upper deck are open now. You can park in the State St garage and walk the Pont de Rennes bridge across High Falls to the restaurant.

There's a Double Tree on Jefferson road that's quite nice and relatively cheap. Large indoor glass dome area with a pool and full bar. It's where I'd stay if I ever moved away from here and had to come back to visit.

oh word thanks ill have to look that up, guess i should have thought about hotels when i told the GF we were staying the night up there. I used to be the night audit at a hampton inn so i do love Hilton family hotels

It is a misdemeanor. That doesn't necessarily mean you'll get charged with one though. A few years back, someone was carrying concealed in a park. The gun fell out of the holster or got lost somehow (I have no idea how). I can't remember for sure, but I don't remember if they got charged or not.

If you like Hiltons, the Strathallan is now a DoubleTree. It may be a few bucks more, but I feel like the experience is worth it. The view of the city from the rooftop lounge is amazing. The in-hotel restaurant is a really nice steakhouse. It's only a few blocks walk to the museum and the art gallery. The George Eastman house is just a couple blocks more. Lots of decent bars, nightclubs, and restaurants within a 10-minute walk too. Easy to get to the zoo from there too - just a few blocks west, and then straight north on St. Paul.

So how'd this end up?
oh yea so it turned out decent, it was my first weekend off of doing 72hr work weeks since the beginning of Feb. (12hrs monday-friday 6 and 6 saturday and sunday) so i was abit sluggish myself, but the zoo wasnt horrible, saw a Lion sleeping like small cats do which was fun (dont have the picture of it right now ill try and upload later) i locked my carry gun in my car safe just for the sake of ease.
We stayed at the holiday in used the pool which was nice, and ended up eating at a place called Bar Louie, pretty cool place good burgers
Overall it was not as exciting as i was hoping for but we had a good little get away
