Highly aggressive, had already hit him multiple times, kept on coming. Fuck yes this was justified. The Sheriff actually showed poor judgment and too much restraint - if he'd taken a direct blow to the head this would have been a different situation.

Pretty sure that's an old video or very similar to another encounter. Surprised LEO didn't put one between his eyes to stop the threat. Lucky he wasn't hit with that post could of ended badly.

Might have wanted to re-target after the first couple shots seemed ineffective.
If that was happening to me I'd be thinking "body armor" and might have switched for a pelvis or head shot.

Must be an elaborate hoax then I posted link to Washington Post article from Feb 2021 when it (supposedly?) happened. The deputy was cleared of any wrongdoing in June 2021. There are articles about that too if you look for them.
I'm curious what caliber rounds he was shooting him with? You know, - those dreaded 9mm, lung blowing out rounds that our grifting dementia imposter in the Oval Office despises (when they are in OUR hands), or something else? My guess is the cop (like 99.9% of us) was surprised, pumped full of adrenaline and didn't have the time to clearly think "hmmm....the first couple didn't stop him, let me take a head shot just like in training".
We all like to think we'd be calm, cool and collected with expert and judicious shot placement. But we won't know until we face a similar situation.

I don't get what the mystery here is. You can clearly see the bullet holes in the shirt. Hollow points would be my guess because of how clean the holes are. The real question is why wasn't the cop using 45? Even just grazing him on the shoulder would have stopped the threat.
This is a few years old and it was learned from official sources that the gun involved was cambered in .45 ACP.
