Well I’m going to do something I’ve never had to do ship a gun in for repair.
I’m wondering who’s better and how to do it? It’s a ruger sr22 and I think it has to go to Arizona based on their web site. I looked at ups and it seems it has to be shipped overnight. Ouch that will be expensive. Also I don’t think USPS take pistols do they?
I’ve had the gun for a bit and have had a lot of issues with it going into battery and properly feeding and ejecting cartridges. It will mainly only fire every other round for the first 5-6 rounds because it fails to go into battery. I have 4 mags all do it and have tried 5-6 different types of ammo. Ive tried standard and high velocity ammo. I’ve shot about 800 rounds and it has not improved. I tried the tandemkross guiderod and spring and it was worse. I’m out of ideas and contacted ruger today. I know they are good and will fix it.
