I would have walked out of the store. Nobody puts me on lockdown during an event unless they have a gun pointed at me. And in the case of Dick's it seems like none of the guns were ready to be used.

I was in a mall once that was locked down over what turned out to be a teenager walking around in a nearby wood with a BB gun. I didn't care and so I went to leave and got stopped by a mall cop who yold me I couldn't leave. I told him I didn't give a rats ass about whatever was going on and I was going home and that if he didn't get out of my way I'd move him out of my way. He moved out of my way.
