Rules
To be eligible for this challenge you must have either a yearly shot challenge or monthly shot challenge banner under your screen name.
Entry posts must be marked "Official Entry"
Challenge must be completed in the same range session as it was started.
Entries must be shot and posted between 1-31 January
Print on 8.5x11 sheet of paper (should fill full sheet).
Any modification to the Targets, stances, or distance will disqualify the entry.
Both targets pages 1 & 2 must be used in order to enter the category.
All targets posted must be unobstructed (nothing physically blocking the view of any portion of the target).
One set of targets per category will be counted for score, if you shoot the same category multiple times the highest scoring target set will be counted. Only Official targets (attached) will be counted for score.
You may enter one to all categories if you wish.
Final tie breaker is date and time of entry.
Information required with each entry (any target submitted without the information below will not be considered):
Picture of target with the following information (examples given):
Description of gun ( Remington 783, 38-06, 12-56x56 Simmons super spotter scope)
Distance (100 yards)
Stance or rest used (sandbag front and rear)
Caliber/Cartridge (.30-06 Springfield)
Load used (750 gr SHPBT, 59.5 grains H9002sc, CCI primer)/ whatever factory load you used.
Date (32 Juvember 2317).
The scenario: Just like The TV Show Top Shot, you have made it to the final round. Shoot your targets and post them. Be the best in any category to be crowned Yearly Shot Challenge Winner in 2021.
Stance to use:
10 Yard Pistol Stance: Free style
25 yard Rifle Stance: Off Hand
50 yard Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) Stance: Freestyle or Bench Rest
100/200 yard Rifle Stance: From the Bench/ Bench Rest / Prone
100 yard Red dot/iron sight rifle stance: From the Bench/ Bench Rest/ Prone
Course of fire:
10 rounds – 10 yard CF/RF Pistol, 25/100 yard rifle
10 rounds- 100 yard Iron Sight/ No Mag Red Dot
5 rounds – 50 yard PCC and 200 yard rifle.
Scoring:
Bullseye targets: Score rings are on the target, a hit on the line counts for the higher score. A hit in the X ring counts as 10/1X. Practice bulls will not count for score.
Target to use
10 yard pistol/ 25 & 100 yard rifle use the 11 bullseye target ( both pages)
50 yard PCC use the PCC 50 yard/200 Yard Rifle 6 bull target (both pages)
No rimfire cartridges are allowed in the PCC class.
100 yard no mag red dot/ iron sight use the SR-1, single bull target. (No substituting actual SR1 targets allowed)
