Should I grab a 20 gauge shockwave for a toy and a trunk gun?

I'm a big dude. I can handle a 12, but I feel like I'd be faster with a 20...

I mean...it's christmas...

I've got an older Mossgerg 500 in 20 gauge that had a pistol grip on it when I got it. It now has a short little youth stock on it.

For making noise, the pistol - or pistol-like grip is fun. But if you want to hit what you're shooting at, a little bit of stock to shoulder helps a lot. A pistol brace would help too, but could turn you into a felon if ATF changes their interpretation.

I recently got one in 12 gauge. Mostly because it's cool and I can see it being made illegal at some point in this state. I haven't shot it yet. Here's a few pics. I took the sidesaddle off because I like it small and light. I did put a rubber grip sleeve on.

I like my 12g. I put on a Black Aces rail/saddle, CT green laser, Opsol min clip and a grip tape and it just works.

Nothing wrong with a 20. Slugs will still drop your target. Just not much variety in buckshot.

Just as a reference, I have 3 12 ga pumps and a 20 ga single that was my very first shotgun. I will never sell it. My brother and my mom scraped the money to get for me when h and rs were still around, affordable, and quality.

I might even have some old 20 ga buck and sluhmgs lying around!

I was. I don't think they actually ever closed though. And none of the sale prices were anything special. More of a gimmick. I think I paid $350 plus tax ~ $380 for the Shockwave. Buds has them for $299 no tax just add transfer fee ~ $25. I didn't care I wanted it that day, but if you're looking for a deal look elsewhere.
