Nope, but reasonable deduction backs the story. The propagandist who edited the video would have shown the protester doing nothing before the cops reacted if that were so. Furthermore, both the official story and unofficial witnesses are backing the story. And the pro-protesters would not be claiming it was an undercover government agent that threw the acid if no acid was thrown.
Officials would have thrown the cop under the bus if it wasn’t believed to be true.

I am more than willing to call them out when they are wrong though, you seem to be not able to do that.
The story of the young girl that was killed by a stray rifle bullet in a store while she was getting changed, I had a real problem with that.
We Police are not always right, and there are many stories of real abuse from officers, I am willing to call that behavior out.

Well I said allowed and we certain let them off the hook and allowed them to do it during BLM protests. Many DA’s, police, and politicians said we will not arrest or prosecute those involved in the BLM riots. They allowed them to take over road ways and thruways without arrests again the polices job is to arrest for criminal action and they didn’t. They took over streets and a police station in Portland and we just allowed it right?

My rule in life is to stay away from all protests. They all have the propensity to get out of hand and I don’t need that in my life. Sorry I take to the streets for no one, but myself. Selfish? Maybe, but my job is to protect myself and my family.
I could see it now I’d be the guy there supporting Blue Lives Matter and a fight would break out and the BLM looters would be set free and I’m a white guy so I’d be jailed.

I have thanked many cops. I worked with many of them at my local vaccine clinic for overtime. The ones that I talked with and were descent I thanked them for putting up with the bullshit. The cop directing traffic I always wave to as a thank you. You can go back and look at my threads and I would say for the most part I blindly supported the cops until recently. Why recently because what’s happened to my family personally(detailed earlier in the thread) and what I’m seeing on the news with the BLM and 1/6 shit. I have many friends and family members who are cops and I have called out my brother and father for violating peoples rights.Cops are quick to defend other cops because of how fast the rest of the world is too quick to condemn them especially when in most cases they are later proven right or it was a quick split second decision made under life and death circumstances. There are dozens of examples that made the press and thousands that don’t . Cops in the best of circumstances are second guessed or criticized. If not in public, then in a courtroom.
Too many are quick to say the cop was wrong and the only real support was from other cops, period. This threat is about not blindly supporting cops, correct . But what real support has anyone here really given who aren’t LEOs themselves. Did you give money to a defense ? How many here have actually thanked a cop in the past few years for anything?
Think about it.
Some say cops just let the BLM/Antifa protesters just do what they wanted as if the cops had a choice. Go just look at two cities. NYC and Portland. Go see what happened to police officers who did something. Often that officer got prosecuted or internal punishment.

The police are doing the bidding of politicians, DA’s and other elites and regular people are getting screwed because of it. I get the whole I’m following orders and I’ll be fired if I don’t get it, I really do, but then you have to get why people like me are displeased by your actions and you’re losing support.
The politicians and police are doing X, Y, Z to gain the support of the inner city minorities whom they will never have a large portion of support for no matter what they do all the while losing the support of people that truly supported them like me. I don’t wholesale hate cops by any means, but where as before I supported them unless they gave me a reason not to now I look for a reason to support them before doing so.

To answer your question yes I do support the truckers protests because it’s for everyone’s rights and to protect all rights from government overreach. The BLM protests were for political gain and you can watch the polls as soon as the BLM support went below 50% for a few weeks in a row the protests disappeared. Coincidence? I think not. Timely political tactic by the democrats? I think so. Disagree fine, but I’m just telling you why you’re losing my support as well as many other cops.
When Police/Sheriffs/Peace Officers…changed and went to “Law Enforcement” is when our society lost. Now employing Military style tactic, with Battle Field gear.

Do not have to think about it, I do often. My nephew is in leadership in the BPO. My late cousin was Chief of Detectives for the Erie County sheriffs and was a great undercover narcotics officer for years. I stop into my local police force office monthly, the Chief is my friend. I am forever thanking them. I attend board meetings and speak up on pay raises for them! I am a member of the community liaison board. I speak up and say you want better policing pay them better!
All that said I reserve the right to call out BULLY COPS and the GOOD GUYS who do not also do the same. Bully cops ruin it for EVERYONE!

You see unlike you, I read many stories and accounts of each story that I discuss. I do not jump to conclusions as you did in this particular incident.
As for the propaganda, I do not fall for it at all. I find certain stories, I look deep into them and I post a few. Maybe you have me confused with another member, but it is rare that I call out the coppers for their misdeeds.
This is my career, I see things behind the scenes each and everyday in regards to the working knowledge of the job.
I pay attention to the happenings throughout the country and the world. I see that the actions of some have made my job that much more difficult. When I hear that many Americans are afraid of the police, that bothers me.
I am very good at what I do. Some of the tactics of some officers and departments are down right disturbing. You seem to be blind to all that is going on.

And yes, the victims of assaults and arson ( the police officers themselves) were not allowed to do their job. The DA refused to prosecute the criminals and actually prosecuted cops . It was so bad that outside police departments refused to send their officers to those areas where those woke prosecutors and politicians were.
The feds deputized those officers so the feds could prosecute if the officers were victims. And yet, you blame the police officers ?

There are a few officers during this truck of protest that have gone far above what they should have done as per their training and as per the law. I would imagine the overwhelming vast majority of officers are doing their jobs and they're doing those jobs correctly.

I feel there is no difference in their basic tactic of closing down roads. There is no difference in their propaganda tactic of taking a half story or an edited video. Or just plain making stuff up or instigating a confrontation like throwing bottles, spraying an acid like substance etc by some of the protesters.
The difference is how the press and the “ democrat” leaders are reacting to it.
I disagree with treating them like terrorists or anyone who supports them like closing down bank accounts etc. Nor the disparity in justice in the prosecution of the Jan 6 defendants compared to the BLM protesters who actually tried to kill cops. - like only getting sentenced to 6 months in jail while Jan 6 defendants have been jail longer without a trial and aren’t even accused of actual violence.

The job of a police officers is to arrest people for the crimes they committed with some semblance of dignity and respect if capable. Then to book them in and file the report. The DA can then decide to prosecute and file charges or not.
see what happened in your case is now millions of Americans are blaming the police for inaction. The cops still should have done the job they were hired to do and put it at the feet of the DA to kick them or not. Now you still don’t have the support of the BLM crowd and you’re losing the support of the conservative crowd that supported you. I’m sure my position is easier said than done.
