Sig P238 Too good a deal to pass up...

Was contemplating buying a Beretta Tomcat, but had a few members here, as well as my own inner voices talk me out of it and into the P238...
Two Tone, Stainless, and I got the Fiber optic sites as the night sights don't impress me all that much.. We have them on my P938, and my wife's P 238.
The fiber optics made more sense and were$ 10 cheaper, at $369, instead of $379 for the night sights..
Two set of grips come with it, grey and pink, are both going into the trash to be replaced with nice wood Sig factory grips with the carved Sig logo... A few years back they getting between $599-699 for these little guns, unless I am mistaken..
Wanted to downsize from my 938 a bit, and get a much more accurate gun than my Keltec P32 for carry.. I shoot the little Sigs fine, but for some reason i am horribly inaccurate with the Keltec.. Might be the DA trigger on the P32 Keltec , not sure..

In any case, the P238 at this price was a deal.. Its on the way here to an FFL in Pennsylvania.[ I have my Pa. permit]. THEN, they ship it to a FFL in NY.. Why?... For WHATEVER reason the seller does NOT ship guns to NY, even to a licensed FFL gun store.. SOME reputation NY has.. A huge market that no one wants to sell to... Should have this next week.. Love the little all metal Sigs.. Just wish they had better customer service.. I haven't been that impressed with that part of the Sig experience.. However, the guns are very nice... bob

While the Sig's are nice guns, that's still more than I'd pay for a 380. Now if the 938 went for that price, I'd jump.

Already have a P938.. Great gun, but actually I like the P238 better... My wife carries one, and I love that little gun... She paid $700 for hers..

Yes I do understand, but so many companies that sell arms or ammo are going that direction.. Its not them so much as the state.. Even having to pay 2 FFL fees, its worth it.. You don't see the 2 tone stainless P238 at that price anywhere.. they are usually in the $600 range.. I think they are closing this model out.. After all, who wants to buy a gun with pink grips in the box?... bob

They list several preferred FFLs in NYS, so you are saying they will not shit to them????

Just checked their site they will not sip pistols or ammo. But, looks like they will ship some rifles and shotguns. weird.

CDNN wouldn't sell me a 1911 a few years back. I don't remember if its all pistols or just semi-autos they won't ship here.

In either case, they're dead to me.
