whats up people? Hope everyone’s summer is going well. I have a kimber aegis elite that comes with the venom vortex whatever it is red dot on it. I’m looking to put some fiber optic sights on the gun instead of those sights. I know some people are gonna say that’s crazy but I just don’t like them. Anyone have some fiber optic sights for 1911 they wanna get rid of and also I’m looking for someone who can take my sights off and install the new ones. Thanks gusy

It's not quite that simple. I think the ones that come from the factory with the optic (and rear sight to match it) don't have any standard rear sight cuts and the slide would have to be milled. I'm not 100% certain about that though.

same here .. but i hit up the tube just to find out .. then go from there .. never did find a tube vid for my moss 500AT take down ,. oh man WTH .. on mine i had to unscrew the mag tube to get the slide off .. there was a spring welded to the tube .. now this 500 is over 25 to 30 yrs old . but got it done and no gunsmith
