We the People: Your Voice in Our Government

While I’m not a big believer that petitions actually get anything done we should all jump on this one as it can send a message to the Trump Administration.

The Whitehouse website indicates the 2A “gives citizens the right” the keep and bear arms vs acknowledging it protects that natural right. If petition hits 100k signatures the WH will have to respond.

Took me to a page where I had to fill in my info.

But there was another link on that page to the actual petition in question. Once again, they do everything they can to cause confusion and disruption. I'm very sure many have left that petition page unsigned because of the obfuscation.

So maybe I’m not thinking about this logically, but couldn’t literally anyone “sign” it? Like there is nothing asking if your a citizen or where you live.

So maybe my issue isn’t that it’s about this petition but possibility other petitions that random people around the world could sign to drive up the numbers.

I’m sure you could drive up the numbers by signing with multiple email addresses. The petition doesn’t guarantee that the WH will do anything only that they will respond to it. It’s worth getting them to weigh in IMO and if the Trump admin really is pro 2A should be an easy fix.

Signed it. But I've signed a bunch of petitions that got well over 100k sigs and not once did ever see any type of response to them.
