What are you using for an extra mag carrier?

I currently have a single kydex mag holder that came with my holster. The other mag goes in my front pocket. Although, ill be picking up a couple of these (see link below)soon. They will work for the small 43 mag, larger mags, even a leatherman.

Not with +1, or +2. I bought the 3rd mag with the +3 installed.

And that looks cool, i already have some polymer tacos so ill stick with them.

I like the tacos, but don't like stuff on my belt for EDC. That's why the neo mag has caught my eye. Ya it looks like I will be ponying up the money for the +2 extensions. I can't wait for when I have extra money to start modifying mine in a big way.

As to the OP as you can probably tell I use a G43 and highly recommend it. This gun made me a Glock fan. I think the 43 and shield are comparable to each other.

I’ve been carrying the Kahr PM9 black, stoked with 147 grn. Ranger T’s for a couple of years now. Very comfortable to carry , I almost forget that it’s there. Great shooting little gun. I haven’t had any issues with it.

A Sig is all you need- 938, 239 are compact and excellent shooters. I would also consider a Sig 225 and a 228. I have them all. I CC the 225/228 in my waist and in my pocket goes the 938 or the 239.

Try the 938. I think u r going to love it. It’s a miniature Sig pistol, without the de-cocker.

I can't carry. But my selection of compact options that I've used in courses includes:

Glock 43
Springfield XDS 9mm
Ruger LC9s
RIA compact 1911 9mm
Sig P238 (9mm Kurz)
Glock 42 (9mm Kurz)

Favorite for IWB holster: Glock 43 (with rubber-texture Talon grip tape).

Favorite for pocket holster: Tie between P238 and Glock 42

Best fit-and-finish is probably the Springfield XDS. After the Powder River spring upgrade the trigger feels better. The out-of-the-box front fiberoptic sight is very nice. I've used it for a 2-day 14 hour course and it performed great. It's just a tad heavy.

I'd like to consider my LC9S, but it does not eject magazines well (press mag release and...nothing, with 2 different mags). So, it needs to go back to Ruger.

The compact 1911 is just too heavy and bulky to consider for concealed carry.

fair point, if it wasnt so expensive id consider one of those too. as it stands, this thread just motivated me to pull the trigger and buy the two other tacos anyway. I always carry my phone, flashlight and leatherman on my belt every day for work so a few things on my belt don't bother me.

I only have carried a couple of 9mms and one 380 all of them single stacks.

Smith and Wesson 908
Kimber micro 9
Colt Mustang 380

The last two are small enough to carry in the pocket without being noticed. The S&W I carried in an OWB holster.

All three will do their job and are light enough to carry comfortably all day.

Glock 43 for the win. Just shoots effortlessly and places rounds dead nuts on target.

Had a shield. Was a great gun. Solidly built. For the money couldn't be beat. Got it $199 out the door. I didn't shoot it well, so I sold it.
