Old skylight was leaking and double pane glass was fogged up...
Pulled it out hardest part was pulling up all the shingles with all the tar that they used around old skylight...
..
Replaced with new one from Home Depot size M04 fixed skylight had to block hole up as it was a bit oversized for required rough opening...
.
Flashed to deck and old underlayment the flashing runs up the sides of skylight on all sides and is pretty much watertight...
Step-flashed and reshingled with factory flashing kit. Can't tell from pic but the flashing runs under shingles about 4" on each side and the saddle flashing on top runs under shingles about 10". Instructions called for a 4" gap to be left on top for proper drainage although my preference would have been to run the shingles right down to the skylight. Had to buy a new bundle of shingles they match the old stuff pretty good.
Tweaked my back a bit yesterday getting up on roof again today was no fun. Wanted to get the interior drywall back up but held off until tomorrow.
