I love my 2.0 Compact and I was looking to add a duplicate eventually (2 is 1, 1 is none, etc), this might be worth looking into.

I wish they would just sell the parts. I already have a 2.0 compact and it would be nice if I could just order a new slide for it. That way I could switch between optic equipped slide and no optic equipped slide

The one good think Hk has done is they sell (or atleast limited runs) VP9 OR complete uppers.

What's funny is S&W m&p line was one of the first to do an optics ready line with the CORE

That's what I used to think until I had my first slide milled. I bought a second slide for my CZ but since I started using the RDS the original slide has not gone back on the gun. Just mill you slide and be done with it.

I know I could but it’s just easier to order a part and have it shipped to me vs trying to find someone local to do the work. I would like a red dot equipped slide for fun at the range and then the iron sight only equipped slide for easier storage and for when I decide to carry it

Red dot > irons for carry

Red dot > irons for carry

And why local there are so many quality companies milling vs some dude

Red dot increases the size of the pistol I’m concealing. Becomes too bulky for my personal tastes. I don’t like shipping my gun stuff out as it’s more opportunity for the mail to lose it. I also prefer to work with local companies whenever possible as it supports my local economy. Purely my personal taste.
