I was not surprised to learn they were doing the things they were (are) doing.

And I think my anti-tin foil bona fides are pretty well established.

Oh I can’t say I was either, though at that point in my life I was slightly distracted by other things. It was what pointed me towards a deeper distrust of the Feds than their superficial incompetence, though.
