Tried today to buy a nostalgic piece of history, the Daisy Red Ryder a Christmas Wish BB gun with a compass in the stock and a thing that tells time. Overpriced from its original ask of 29.99 to now 59.99. Didn't care, just wanted it. Some here bought them 2 years ago at Walmart. I should have jumped on it. In the listing on Amazon they claimed they cannot ship to NYC or its boroughs, understanding as it requires a permit there ( yeah, stupid). I don't live in NY Shitty or the boroughs. After a lengthy disagreement with thier call center I finally got through thier thick skulls that there is around 53000 square miles that ISN'T NYC, and thier system simply invalidates all of NY, not just NYC. And....


Didn't matter. There's more to this ( like trying to change to different addresses which proved how hilariously stupid and ignorant people are about NY and its gun laws in total) that I could go on and on about, buy just more pissed that I just didn't buy one when I walked past one 2 years ago.


Wanna hear how dumb? Quick example-

Yes.....she stated I needed a permit to own one.....outside NYC ( we know that's false) to which I replied, " I have all valid NYS permits, where do I enter it?"

"Nowhere ( she said), because you can't own one in NY"

If I can't own one than what's the purpose for your false requirement for a fictitious permit outside NYC?

Banging my head against a wall would be more productive.

PS- I forgot how fun and Inexpensive these things are to shoot. Took it out today for the first time. Really fun and relaxing, even if my wife banned me from shooting at the shed

America's MailBox, there are different levels of delivery. Ours cost us $180/yr.

Set up a mailbox in Box Elder, South Dakota. Have whatever you want shipped there. They will forward said mail to you. They are simply a "middleman"
Thats what we do as we travel around the country. We have a South Dakota mailbox at (your box # ) America's Way, PMB ##### Box Elder, SD 57719-####
all our mail goes there, then we have them forward it to whatever town we are in as USPS General delivery. we have our mail forwarded whenever we are going to be in one place for a couple weeks or at a friends house for a few days.

A guy on another board tried this and they go by billing address at check out for the goods you’re trying to buy. Fuckers

THAT is my permanent address, all my mail goes to that address, when I have anything forwarded, I have it sent as General delivery to a POST OFFICE ( not my house ) in whatever town Im in. America's Way is the only address you need to give the vender. America's Mailbox will be the final destination of whatever you bought. You can log into America's mailbox and have them forward the items to the post office closest to your home via General delivery.

As far as the vender is concerned, YOU PHYSICALLY LIVE at #### America's Way
