So who sells and ships to NY these days?

Wanting to do some browsing and possibly an impulse buy but dont want to waste my time on sites that have good selection but won't ship to New York.

Any thoughts on new / used places to look online? I'll do the Gun Broker thing, sure, but weeding thru the "but we dont ship to commie states" buried inside of individual ads is a pain and a time suck.

Grabagun last I knew did as long as you get something with a mag with 10 or less round capacity. Pretty sure buds does but I haven’t heard the best about them. I’ve bought a couple of guns from grabagun and it’s always worked great. Never a handgun though. I always got my handguns locally.

Gunbuyer is a good site right now. Great customer service and once they ship it is two days or so. They will ship anything if a dealer orders it. If you are not a dealer they will check first but they have semi good prices and are not so bad with the NY\CA complaint "tax"(having to pay more for the complaint stuff).

The question was why does buds have that policy, not what is the rule.
The answer is because of the 50oz rule. They might be misinterpreting the rule but they don't care and that is the correct answer.
Same reason so many ammo retailers don't care about the shipping restrictions being sort of lifted.
And the second thing is that I was brought up calling pistols semi auto guns and revolvers revolvers. Guess I should have been more specific for the people that do thier best to know everything.

As a side note as somebody that actually runs a small gun dealing busniess I talk to buds and know why they do what they do and they won't listen no matter what us people who are in this state FFL or no tell them.

I'd still respond the same way if this conversation happened again and that was your post.

Why because someone new or not familiar with the law may see your first post and think it's the law.

Instead you could have typed. Unless it's a 51oz revolver (or whatever the exact quote is) because they dont want to deal with the safe act and the arbitrary 50oz rule for semi auto handguns and it's their policy

Not sure what you mean by any of this....you still have to register your pistol on your permit...you still have to ship it to a FFL dealer where you fill out a 4473 so what is this internet loophole you speak of? Unless you just mean sales tax?

They all ship to NY. Its up to your FFL if they will transfer it or not
