I know magnet holders are widely used but I always worried about internal gun parts becoming magnetized and not moving as they should.

I use magnets to hold pistols in my 1911 display case. Have been for about 6 years now. No issues with parts becoming magnetic.

You could magnetize every part in a gun and it still won't be enough to overcome the force.
