Some New Years fun in PA

Decided to spend my New Years at my place in PA.

Had a good time sighting up my Holosun Laser/IR. Just have to figure out if the Surefire dual pressure switch will work with a Streamlight TRL-1 HL and the Holosun Laser/IR.

The NVG worked great, did some shooting off his back deck in Lord's Valley last night

I am a NYer as well, but split time in PA. So I have my "scary" stuff here where it is safe from the liberal goon squad.

My goal is to long term move to PA and place loudspeakers pointing into NY and blast anti-NY Hochul propaganda.

Seriously though I will never give up on NY, because deep down regardless of where I move, NY is my home. The scenery is my home, and every other place seems foreign to me. I may live somewhere else but always fight for my home.

So I can understand why you chose to run the rear sight backwards and in front of the optics since it looks like you won’t have space under the magnifier for it. But just wondering why you’re running your front sight backwards and not all the way forward? Because it looks like you have about another 2-3 picatinny slots that you could move it forward. I’d assume it’s because you don’t want to reach up over the Holosun IR to activate it? So you’re running it backwards and a few slots back because that’s where your thumb lands when you have your hand behind the Holosun IR to be able to reach the button?

@Cerakoted @Will556 Lol, when I looked at it again, you guys are right. I did remount them backwards.

@Will556 i ran the rear BUS in front of the optics since the eye relief on the magnifier wasn't high enough where I could mount it in front.

I think I'm gonna end up taking off those Magpul BUS and get Midwest Industries canted.

To get irons to fit under magnifiers they have to be pretty low profile. Also running higher optics helps as well. Also while you’re at it if you haven’t already, I would push the front iron as far forward as possible. Might as well use the rail space to extend the sight radius while you have the real estate.
