I was reading a post in the "firearms for sale" section, and the seller mentioned the buyer's "BRADY BILL" being up to date. Admittedly, it has been several years since my last dealings at the pistol permit office, but....WHAT THE HECK IS A BRADY BILL ?

In Monroe Co. we need to have a Brady check done every 5 years OR buy a handgun from a dealer if not you can't buy handgun from an individual, of course none of that matters now that ALL sales need a BC. I really have no idea if this is still the case but wouldn't be surprised if it was still in effect, after all it's for the kids.
