The number of judges in Putnam has nothing to do with the wait time. It's all about their processing time.
What'd ya pay out the door for the G43 if I may ask?

Consider a Ghost trigger connector, extended slide lock release (a must on a G42/43), Talon grip, and highlight the front sight. Does the Alien holster allow for the carrying of a second magazine?

Don’t sweat it. I live in Putnam County as well. Joyce is a really nice lady. I have 17 pistols on my permit, Now that we have three judges. The two more liberal ones delay the process of signing the coupon over. You will receive a phone call in three weeks usually. Ots a 845-808 -2112 number i believe it will be an aitomated message say your pistol permit paperwork “coupon” is ready for pick up. They are all nice people in the clerks office. Its not there fault that the other two judges delay our paperwork

It was great when it was only judge reitz. It was a two week wait max. Usually just one week. Oh the great times before the SAFE ACT. Good luck tho. That call should be coming.

Received my Alien Gear ShapeShift kit, and went with the OWB slide setup. Also installed a GhostInc Edge connector. This reduced my trigger pull (on average) from 6 lbs 5.9 oz (stock) to 5 lbs 9.3 oz. Not as much of a reduction as I'd like but the trigger definitely feels a lot better.

For the record, my other Glocks have Apex trigger enhancement kits installed. My G17 trigger pull comes in (average) at 4 lbs 7.6 oz, but the Ghost connector is a heck of a lot cheaper.

Just a follow up. I finally got ~500 rounds through the G43 and gave it a good first cleaning. Took the time to do a 25 cent trigger job on it too. Now the trigger pull is averaging 4lbs 3.6oz. I like it.

@BR3ND0 if you don't mind my asking- what's the procedure when you exceed the 5 lines on the back of the permit in Putnam?

I just got my permit, father in law will be sending me four or five in the next few weeks, and I know there will be additionals...

You get a second card. When they re print a new card for you , you pay the additional 3 dollars for a new card. If all the four / five guns are transfered in one shot at the FFL , and you bring in the paperwork same day. The newly printed second card will only be 3 dollars. If it multiple amendments, it could be 3 dollars every new printed card. You get. Every new gun you add. A new info line is printed. My buddys father has four cards filled out. Both sides.
