I use this one but, tossed the tripod and bought one at a garage sale for 20 bucks (that costs over 200 bucks new). The weak link is the tripod. with this spotting scope I was able to see 223 hits on shoot and see targets at 400 yards.

I use the same scope and I got it during some type of clearance or black Friday sale. I think I paid about $60 for it. My opinion on the scope is you get what you pay for. For $60 it is worth it but it is nothing to brag about. At 20 power the view if fine and covers just about all of my needs. At 60 power looking at the target is like looking through a pin hole with complete distortion around it. For your purposes it may be all you need.

Paid about 60 for the kit. The optic is fair, but tripod was so shaky it was harder to see far, so i just upgraded and got a good vortex tripod and its much more stable. Its not a great set up but works. I havent used it past 200 yds yet though.

i got one of these for Christmas 2015, used it some for deer season this year but mostly for scouting out of vehicle. optics are better than the cheaper ones I looked through at the stores and it is very small a light so carrying it in a pack would be easy. can't wait to use it on a pronghorn hunt. (if I ever go)
