I posted mostly because I find it interesting this is the sort of press the company gets now days.
That beside $3,700 for that level of performance is ridiculous.
If one wanted an M1A regardless of SA's douche baggery in Illinois I think one would be better served with the GI model.
Furthermore I think the M1A/M14 series time has passed. For the money one could have an AR10 that will far outperform the M1A in accuracy, for a "battle rifle" type this kind of money can get you into a SCAR or my beloved Galil ACE or any number of upcoming 308 semi autos.
For nostalgia I would rather shoot a Garand and get the extra theater of the enbloc ping.
