We use to do the rabbit hunts, they were a lot of fun. The bottom line is why we stopped doing them. WAY too much crying from grown men.

That's pretty funny haven't seen anything like before. Closest thing to it was the Annual Turkey Shoot at bar (sorry, "tavern") my dad used to hang out in back in the 1970s and 1980s. And that was shooting targets with a 22LR... best score. So just curious how do they actually do this? Do teams hunt on their own and bring their harvest back to bar at end of day? Or are all the patrons out back plinking squirrels from the parking lot, lol... I don't hunt but this sounds fun...
All sorts of crap. They had the tournament won all the way to we cheated and they were pet rabbits we fattened up for the tournament. Hell for one we let the people who accused us of cheating dissect the rabbits on their tailgate to see if we weighted them. Mind you we were 16-19 year old kids and that's what we did for fun. We kept a couple honey holes not hunted just for tournaments.

I used to do predator hunting contest. It’s open to all from what I saw on fb. If your a team, I think you could hunt as a team or split up. Cover more areas split up.

I used to do predator hunting contest. The contest rules said no hunting with dog or trapped animals. One guy brought in a animal that looked to be trapped and holy hell did he throw a fit when his coyote was disqualified.

Too bad..I see these as ....should be....Fun fun fun out hunting and a timeline down your back....and then going back to the tavern to have a couple good beers and talk about the antics you had when hunting...this one squirrel did this.... and you shoulda seen Arnie try to get a shot..and blah blah blah....
I mean for 20 bucks of fun....and hunting in teams...that would make it fun.....steves too loud in the woods scared away all the damn squirrels and stuff like that......its about the stories!!!!!

I am thinking I am going to do the hunt, it’s not far from me. Depends on the weather. Sportsman show is also the same weekend. I wish my youngest was old enough to hunt with me.

Not knowing anything about the situation but it is possible that a coyote was trapped and released. Than shot and still had a trap impression on the paw. I've released plenty of animals from my traps. Again, not knowing anything about what happened but guy may have been pissed for a legit reason
And if I've learned anything in my 33 years of life, people will fuck anything up. Factor in money and it will turn to a shit show quick, factor money and bragging rights and the show can not start quick enough.
